Right on RUclips. That is not the right title. Investiture of the Gods, 2019 is it. Deng Lun is not Male lead, but 2nd one and actress shown, Li Qin on lying Thumbnail is not even in this series.
Best to look up the real title series as there are multiply Eng sub playlists, then this lying uploader.

The first character means deity or immortal.
The second character means fallen from the sky.
Investiture of the Gods in the main title. Most of us can't read Chinese.
That below is probably the Native title maybe.
I did a research and you are right. It's based on a novel called The Expenditure of the Gods but for the sake of an international audience, they changed it to something more appealing and easier to remember. What does expenditure mean anyway?
Anyway, title aside, I'm sort of disappointed in this drama because the female character is a whimp. I prefer badass female leads like in An Oriental Odyssey.
